On a recent trip to Nashville with some friends, I planned our dining itinerary, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I have been doing this for my own and my parents’ trips for years. When selecting a destination, food is the always at the top of my list. Towards the end of our trip, we were recanting our food journey through Nashville, and they were so appreciative and complimentary of my choices. I realized that it was not only really fun to do, but I also wasn’t too bad at it. I do love to eat, so it makes sense. This birthed Chow with Chaz which is what you are reading now, and it also birthed Chaz Sent Me. Chaz Sent Me is currently only an Instagram profile with one post. But the plan for that is, to help guide you on a food journey on your next vacation without you having to do any of the work. It is obviously easier for places that I have been, but I have become quite the restaurant review sleuth. Those are not as always as straightforward as they appear, and there is a litany of them out there. I think I have honed that skill over the past 2 decades and I am here to help you.
There are approximately 47 million food blogs out there, so how will Chow with Chaz be different? First answer…heck if I know. That is what I will figure out as we go. Second answer…the others don’t have me. I will be the difference. My current plan for this is to have some of my own reviews of restaurants. These will be all positive, there’s enough Karen’s on Yelp mad at their well-done steak. I will also share some of my own cooking journey. I also hope to have some reviews from people that let me plan their culinary vacation. So welcome! Thank you for reading. Let’s chow!
